# Esperance (SP) — 60th Birthday Dinner

- **Date:** Friday, September 12, 2026 (shoot)
- **Camera:** Canon R6 Mark II
- **Lighting:** LED square + video reflector cone (shiny interior) until ~9:15–9:20 PM, then ambient only (LED + cone died)
- **White balance:** Forgot to change WB when the lights went out — candlelit / late-evening shots need manual WB adjustment in editing
- **Total frames:** 1,181

## Culling results (review session Sep 14)
- **KEEP: 126** → in `Picks/`
- **BACKUP: 73** (usable but weak) → in `Picks/`
- **CULL: 11** (duplicates, blur, dark/unusable) → not copied
- **Picks total: 199 photos**

## Folder structure
```
Esperance-60th/
├── Full/     ← complete raw set (all 1,181 CR3 frames)
├── Picks/    ← curated selections (126 KEEP + 73 BACKUP = 199 CR3)
└── README.md ← this file
```

## Notable notes
- **Dupa (Dupe)** — one of the girls; appears in frames 6924 and 6945 (both KEEP). May need more representation in the final delivery.
- Lighting degraded after ~9:15 PM; frames from the speech/cake block onward are ambient + candle-lit only.
- Candlelit cake frames (7693, 7701, 7726, 7750) are the emotional peaks — keep the mood, fix WB.
- Full decision table + sheet-by-sheet notes: MacBook `/Users/Sam/DupesMoms60th/notes/review.md` and `work/final.md`.
