## 1. Project Initialization
- Clean directory structure created
- Requirements, Docker, and VS Code tasks set up
- Documentation and architecture files started

## 2. Backend Service Layer
- Config, Spotify, and Download services scaffolded
- Configurable via `config.json`
- Download and search logic modularized

## 3. Next: Flask App API & Real-Time Events
- Will implement Flask routes and SocketIO events for search, download, progress, and notifications
- Will checkpoint again after backend API is live
