# SamCloud Music App - Girlfriend Testing Setup

This is a separate testing environment for your girlfriend to try the SamCloud Music app without interfering with your existing library.

## What's Different

1. **Separate Playlist**: All downloads will go to a separate playlist called "girlfriend_test_playlist"
2. **Separate Directory**: All music files will be saved in a separate directory structure
3. **Separate Ports**: The app runs on different ports to avoid conflicts
4. **Resource Limits**: Reduced resource usage to avoid impacting your main setup

## How to Start Testing

1. Open Terminal
2. Navigate to this directory:
   ```bash
   cd /Volumes/SamMgmt/Containers/SamCloud\ Music\ App
   ```

3. Start the testing environment:
   ```bash
   docker-compose -f docker-compose.girlfriend.yml up
   ```

4. Wait for the services to start (usually 1-2 minutes)

5. Open your browser and go to: http://localhost:5146

6. The app should load and be ready for testing

## How to Stop Testing

1. In Terminal, press `Ctrl+C` to stop the services

2. (Optional) Clean up containers:
   ```bash
   docker-compose -f docker-compose.girlfriend.yml down
   ```

## What She Can Test

- Search for music on Spotify
- Download tracks (they'll go to her separate playlist)
- Play downloaded music
- Create and manage her own playlists
- Test the mobile interface

## Important Notes

- All downloads will be saved in a separate directory and won't affect your existing library
- Her playlist is completely separate from yours
- She can safely download and test without worrying about messing up your collection
- If she wants to keep any music, it can be moved to your main library later

## Troubleshooting

If the app doesn't start:

1. Make sure Docker is running
2. Check that ports 5145 and 5146 are not in use
3. Try restarting Docker

If downloads don't work:

1. Check internet connection
2. Verify Spotify credentials are working
3. Check the logs in the Terminal window
