# File Browser View Mode Fix

## Issues Fixed

### 1. File Browser View Mode Switching
**Problem**: View mode buttons not working, stuck in column view
**Root Cause**: Duplicate `setFileViewMode` functions conflicting with each other
**Solution**: 
- Removed duplicate/incomplete `setFileViewMode` function (line ~2918)
- Kept the complete `setFileViewMode` function (line ~3789) that properly handles:
  - Setting `currentViewMode` variable
  - Updating file list `data-view-mode` attribute
  - Showing/hiding column headers appropriately
  - Updating button active states
  - Re-rendering files for new view mode

### 2. View Mode Initialization
**Problem**: View mode not properly initialized on page load
**Solution**: Added initialization in two places:
- In `DOMContentLoaded` event: `setFileViewMode('list')`
- In `switchView('files')`: Initialize to list if not already set

### 3. CSS View Mode Support
**Status**: ✅ Already properly implemented
- `[data-view-mode="list"]` - List view with file details
- `[data-view-mode="grid"]` - Grid view with large icons
- `[data-view-mode="columns"]` - Column view with sortable headers

## System Overview Status

### Uptime Display
**Current Status**: System API returning correct formatted uptime
- API Response: `{"uptime": "08:10:45"}` ✅
- Header Element: `#uptime` gets updated with `data.uptime` ✅
- System Overview: `#boot-time` gets updated with `data.uptime` ✅

**Note**: The "07:28 PM" shown in screenshot appears to be a timestamp, not uptime. The actual uptime "07:54:43" is displaying correctly in the system overview section.

## Testing Instructions

### File Browser View Modes
1. Navigate to File Browser section
2. Click the view mode buttons in toolbar:
   - 📄 List View (default)
   - ⚏ Grid View  
   - ☰ Column View
3. Verify each mode displays files differently
4. Test select functionality in each view mode

### Select & Share Testing
1. Switch to any view mode
2. Click "Select" button to enable selection mode
3. Click files/folders to select (checkboxes should appear)
4. Selected items should highlight
5. Use selection for share functionality

## Files Modified
- `templates/dashboard_sensei.html`: Removed duplicate function, added proper initialization

## Container Status
- Container restarted successfully
- All APIs responding correctly
- Dashboard accessible at http://localhost:8383
