# YellowMellow Server — Brief (entry point)

**Last verified:** 2026-10-19, live recon from SamBook via tunnel.

## Who / what
- **Christie (YellowMellow)** — client/collab. Store is her venue; Sam visits to work on the Mac mini in person.
- **Business (yellowmellowclawz.com = yellowmellowco.ca, same Shopify store):** Toronto creative studio at **1084 Queen St W (2nd floor)**, open Tue–Sun 11am–6pm. Sells **press-on nails** (seasonal / ready-to-wear / made-to-order), **jewelry** (stainless steel & resin bangles, rings, earrings, arm cuffs, necklaces), **accessories** (fur winter accessories, bag charms, phone cases), custom orders + private workshops. IG @yellowmellowco; sub-brands @yellowmellowclawz (nails), @yellowmellowgemz (tooth gems). → Server direction: content production + media library for product photography.
- Old server: **Intel iMac (2015, 8GB)** — Immich v3.1.0 (~102k photos), Navidrome, TunesPull, FileBrowser ("Quantum") behind Caddy/Cloudflare. Pending fixes were never applied (pg_dump symlink for DB backup + manual setup steps).
- New server: **M1 Mac mini (2026, $440 deal)** — 16GB RAM, **256GB internal only**. Replacing the iMac.
- Christie has: **1TB SSD** (fast external) + **~14TB working data** to migrate.
- Purpose: mini is the studio server for content production / store collab.

## What's done so far
1. Mini purchased, OS installed, user `yellowmellow` created.
2. SSH key access from Sam's machines authorized on the mini.
3. Mini joined the WireGuard tunnel and took 110.20.6.1 (old iMac's IP).
4. FileBrowser running on 8834 — usable for file transfer over the tunnel right now.
5. Homebrew + some content tools (ImageMagick, SvtAv1 AV1 encoder) installed.

## What's NOT done (the store-visit work)
- Headless sleep prevention on the mini (Amphetamine or caffeinate/pmset) — no monitor/dongle yet.
- Native services on mini: Navidrome, TunesPull, Caddy; **Immich run method to confirm on site** (no Docker allowed).
- Data migration: 14TB working data + 102k photos off the iMac (path TBD on site: direct cable vs public URL vs defer until 1TB SSD is out of the MacBook).
- Decide old iMac's fate (decommission? keep as backup until migration verified?).
- Apply the 2 pending fixes from the old server (pg_dump DB backup symlink etc.) in the new setup.
- Consider adding a Christy user account (currently only `yellowmellow`).
